Senior School Science Week Photography Competition
To help celebrate National Science Week 15-23 August, Senior School ran a photography competition.
Congratulations go to Year 9 student Grace, who won the competition with this fantastic picture.
Here is Grace’s description of her winning photo:
“This is a photo of a butterfly that I found in my garden.
Butterflies are an important component of the food chain, as predator and prey. They are an important source of food for animals such as bats and birds; butterflies also keep our flowers alive.
If we didn’t have butterflies, people would not be able to enjoy their favourite chocolates, apples, coffee and other foods that have become vital in our daily existence.”
