Brush up on your singing and dancing – Annie is coming!

Have you always longed to perform in a musical? Have you have dreamt of being famous? Do you love to sing in the shower? Do you catch yourself dancing around your room? Do you know the lyrics to all of your favourite songs? Do you love music? Have you watched Annie more than once?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then being involved with the 2017 Hazel Glen musical production of Annie is a wonderful opportunity to unleash your hidden creative talents.
This year, over 400 students registered their interest in auditioning for HGC’s production of ‘Annie’. The performance will be presented on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd July at Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre.
The footage above shows our wonderful array of talented students learning the audition song ‘Maybe’. Following this, students attended auditions in small groups, performing their song to a member of our production staff.
Well done to all students for auditioning – we are so proud of you for demonstrating so much confidence and passion towards Performing Arts!
The Cast List will be posted shortly. Good Luck to all who have auditioned!
For those who did not get in or who don’t want to perform on stage, don’t worry, there are plenty of other ways to get involved behind the scenes. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative people to help backstage with lighting, set and prop making, hair and makeup, sound, photography, video, and much, much, more!
