Year 5’s get ‘hands on’ with Darwin’s theory of evolution

Year 5’s have been learning about habitat and adaptation.

In Ms Foskett’s class they have been making imaginary birds and habitats. They have been asked to explain ways in which their imaginary creatures have physically and behaviourally adapted to their natural environment.

The Year 5’s created some amazingly weird and wonderful creatures that were well suited to their habitats.
