This is a callout to all our HGC book-lovers – both young and old!

At HGC we are passionate about books and we want to inspire a love of reading in everyone within our HGC community. To do this, we have created a book exchange outside the HGC Middle School Reception.
As this Book Exchange is brand new, we are hoping to have books donated to the box by the 20 August so that the HGC Book Exchange is up and running by Book Week. So if you have some great books you’ve read and would like to share, just pop them in the HGC Book Exchange box outside Middle School Reception. Let’s make Book Week bigger and better than ever!
How does this library work?
The HGC Book Exchange offers a way to share good things to read – books your children may have grown out of, books you would recommend to a friend, books that teach, intrigue and engage you. All you need to do is take a book and share a book!
Whose library is this? It belongs to everybody! Neighbours, friends, and people we have not even met are welcome to take a book and leave a book.
Take a book! If you see something you would like to read, take it. Look inside and see who gave it and who else has read it.
Read it and return it with a little note for the next person on the inside cover.
Share it! Return it to the HGC Book Exchange or pass it on to a friend.
Give books! Leave notes in them. Pay it forward!
